My girlfriend Marie and I have a started a group of three of us who are working on the principles of the Artists Way book. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this book , you start everyday writing three pages (the Morning pages) of anything that comes out. I am amazed at what I write down frustration, anger, unresolved issues, wondering about what I will cook for dinner to preparing my 40th Party.............then I get bored, but you must fill three pages. I find it amazing and it seems to skim away all that "yucky stuff"(baggage) that I would have been carrying around with me all day!
For me it is a little hard to get up after a busy night with Taj, and I wait until I am free to do "the Pages". I find it extremely valuable if I just do them. So I will keep you posted on how I am doing as I know this is going to be a roller coaster ride.
